TAHS Humane Education Programs

The Toledo Area Humane Society believes that respect for living things, including animals and people, begins with education. Staff and volunteers give hundreds of presentations each year to adults and children on topics such as responsible pet ownership, safety around animals, prevention of dog bites, pet overpopulation and the connection between animal and human abuse.

The TAHS Education Department offers a variety of single and multi-day programs designed to appeal to different age groups and interests.  To accommodate the busy schedules of students, we offer educational opportunities after school and on Saturdays.  Costs will vary from program to program.

Picking up and dropping off your child: For your child's safety, we require that you present a valid driver's license or government issued ID for child check-in and check-out.

Cancellations: Fees are not subject to refund, but we are happy to move your child to a different program if available.

Disclaimer: Spots for our education programs are available on a first-come basis. A TAHS Education Coordinator will call or email you regarding confirmation of your child's reservations. If your requested program is full, you will receive a full refund or have the option to select another program.
