Bark in the Park 2020: Gone VIRTUAL!



Dust off your sneakers and your Smartphones – our 35th Annual Bark in the Park is going VIRTUAL!

Our annual 10K run, 5K run, and 1-mile leisure walk are going digital, which means you can join the fun at any time! Walk, jog, or run on your own time throughout the month of August, and record your time on our virtual platform. Don’t forget to fundraise on your page to win some PAWESOME prizes!

Walking and running are always more fun with a friend, whether it’s two-legged or four-legged. Recruit a friend or two to help us reach our goal of raising $95,000 for the animals!

Tune into our social media on Saturday, August 22nd from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. as we feature some of our yearly Bark in the Park events and games such as “The Great Peanut Butter Lick-Off” and “Best Tail Wag,” along with sponsor features and MORE! Join the fun online all day – and connect with other animal lovers in our community online 

The running and walking festivities may not be happening in person, but we’re still excited to celebrate your achievements and fundraising! Join us in person on Saturday, August 22nd from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M. for our “Bark in the Park-ing Lot Party” at our main location in Maumee – stay tuned for more details!

Prize Levels: 

Raise $50– Walk t-shirt and dog bandanna

Raise $100– THS sweatshirt

Raise $250– THS baseball cap

Raise $500– THS insulated cup

Raise $1,000 or more– Amazon Echo Show 5 Smart Display

Additional prizes will be awarded for top individual fundraiser, top team, and top youth fundraiser!


Registration Fees:

Virtual 5K Run: $25 registration fee. Each runner will receive a finishers medal.

Virtual 10K Run: $35 registration fee. Each runner will receive a finishers medal.


Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 3 females and top 3 males!
