The Hope and Recovery Pet (HARP) Program

The Hope and Recovery Pet (HARP) Program is a unique collaborative effort between ProMedica, the Toledo Area Humane Society, and the University of Toledo.  HARP connects adults referred by area mental health providers with companion animals from TAHS to improve the lives of both.   To our knowledge, HARP is the first Emotional Support Animal Placement Program in the country!  https://promedicahealthconnect.org/news-and-community/hope-and-recovery-pets-gives-patient-a-new-leash-on-life/

For more information about HARP, contact Gaye Martin at ProMedica:  567-585-7426 or gaye.martin@promedica.org
