Chef Scott Pierce should need no introduction to guests who have attended PawVillion in the past three years. 

Scott is classically trained, which means he has learned the components and technical skills required to prepare classic French cuisine, and has learned to apply these techniques to any recipe, essentially creating new dishes. His passion lies in using fresh ingredients, never frozen, which directly supports our community by utilizing as many ingredients from local growers as are available, and it’s apparent in his food.

Scott opened Tree City Catering to bring quality, affordable catering to our hometown. In the years he’s been serving, he’s become known for his creative take on classic dishes as well as his own unique, fresh, and delicious recipes.

PawVillion is a night you are sure not going to forget! Allan Block, of Block Communications, and his wife, Susan, welcome the Toledo Area Humane Society and our guests to enjoy this experience with them at their home. PawVillion guests will have the pleasure of eating an amazing meal prepared by local Chef, Scott Pierce, of Tree City Catering. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a live auction and “Raise Your Paw.” At the end of this fun evening, our guests will go home with delicious treats for their own pets, generously donated by Penta Career Center!

“In Home Dining Experience” for 8 to 10 people provided by Tree City Catering

Dinner party for 8 to 10 guests, prepared and served by Scott. Dinner will include: 3 hors d’oeuvres, Starter, Entrée, Dessert, and Wine. Scott will work with the host on the desired menu. 


Omakase Dining Experience for 4 at Kengo Sushi & Yakitori

Dinner for 4. This “leave it up to chef” dining experience gives you a front row seat to dine on some of the best cuisine in Toledo!  This 2 hour experience consists of approximately 12 delicious courses/pieces to eat. Reservation is required in order to guarantee a fantastic dining experience at Kengo! Drinks and gratuity not included. 


Wine Dinner for 10 Provided by Chef Moussa

Private wine dinner for you and 9 of your closest friends. Five courses paired with wine and prepared personally by Chef Moussa Salloukh of Souk Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar. Dinner can only be used Sunday-Thursday. Must give a week’s advance. Can be used the month of December or New Year’s Eve. Dinner can be prepared in your home or at Souk Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar.  


Private Cooking Class for 16 Provided by Chef Moussa

Chef Moussa Salloukh of Souk Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar invites 16 guests to enjoy a personal cooking class with himself. Chef Moussa will demo a salad recipe, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Guests will get to enjoy eating each course and Chef Moussa will pair a wine to compliment each dish. Class can only be held on Saturday or Sunday morning or early afternoon. Must give a week’s advance. Class can take place in your home or at Souk Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar. 


 Private “Craft Cocktail Making Class” for 8

This private experience allows you and 7 friends to learn how to make delicious cocktails hosted by Erika Rapp, owner of Registry Bistro. This private class will include “Full Hands-On Experiences” and light nibbles and nosh will be served.
